Class

We ask that students arrive 5-10 minutes before class start time.

If you arrive after the class start time please do not come into the classroom.

We aim to promote respect for our students by starting and ending class on time and respect for teachers by arriving in time.

Lateness results in a late cancel charge as stated above.

Please prepare yourself before class – bring a towel, water, or anything else you need so that once you are comfortable on your mat you can stay for the duration. Entering or leaving is disruptive to fellow students’ practice.

Block booking is prohibited – you will only be able to book up to 2 weeks in advance to ensure new students are able to attend class.

At times, Soul Sanctuary studio may close or classes may be rescheduled or cancelled due to community members taking priority using the space, or if Soul Sanctuary teachers are on training, retreat or unavailable. No refunds will be offered for class change or cancellation. Depending on the duration of studio closure, a discounted monthly rate may be offered at Soul Sanctuary’s discretion, in this case members would be notified accordingly.

Private Classes

Private classes last for 45 minutes and are deemed non-refundable if cancelled within 12 hours of class start time. We offer 1x Private class for £60 at BECKFORD VILLAGE HALL, or £50 if it’s at your home or an option of 5x Private classes with a 10% discount off the total.

Workshops

Workshops are non-refundable and payment cannot be exchanged for other classes. Workshops apply to either in-person or live-streamed sessions, depending on the content.

RETREATS

Retreats vary in frequency, length and location. Prices vary due to location, retreat content, food, organisation and admin. Retreat bookings are non-refundable once purchased.

We discourage and do not take responsibility for those who are pregnant and choose to attend non-pregnancy yoga classes.

Only pregnancy yoga classes offer the time and attention required to ensure you and your baby are safe. Please get in touch with yogawithharriet@outlook.com and we can recommend nearby pregnancy classes.

Under 13’s are welcome to join regular classes with a supervising adult, once the Youth Waiver has been returned. We do not recommend that 8 years and below attend adult classes, please see kids yoga and family workshops instead. If a child is not participating in class, they cannot be left unsupervised in the studio. Please email info@soulsanctuarystudios.com to check that the class is suitable for your child, the 90 minute classes are physically & mentally challenging… Please email info@soulsanctuarystudios.com to complete the Youth Waiver form before your child attends class. Please note we do not allow children to wait unsupervised outside of class or in the cafe.

Can I pause my membership for illness/injury?

If you have a signed doctors note that you can share with us you can cancel your membership and restart the membership when you are ready to come back to class. Memberships can only be renewed 3-monthly, you will not be refunded mid month as stated in T&C’s online and at point of purchase. You cannot ‘pause’ your membership for illness, injury, holiday or any other reason without medical signature.

Can I practice yoga if I have a bad back?

Please seek advice from your doctor to see whether you should be practicing yoga. If you are told that it will be helpful for your injury by a medical professional we can help you modify in class, but we are not responsible if you decide to practice in class under injury.

Should I practice yoga if I have a cold/flu/bug?

We do ask that if you are sick you take rest. It is usually your bodies way of asking you to rest, and we want to avoid making other students ill in the studio and spread the illness further.

If I have a heart/cardiovascular condition what do I do?

Please seek advice from your doctor to see whether you should be practicing yoga. If you have any current or history of heart or cardiovascular conditions it is your responsibility to let us know, and to share a letter of consent to practice yoga signed by your doctor.
